Baldwin Wallace students blend public health and art in dance show
This spring, the BW theatre and dance community came together to present "fyoo zh en," the annual dance concert combining choreography with faculty member research. This year's show was inspired by Dr. Swagata Banik's National Institutes of Health-funded public health study "Project SHAKTI: Stigma reduction, Healthcare provider Awareness and Knowledge enhancement on Transgender issues in India."

Baldwin Wallace music theatre students set sail in 'Anything Goes'
Cole Porter's classic musical "Anything Goes" was given new life by director James Beaudry and the enthusiastic cast and crew of this positively playful production. When nightclub singer-turned-evangelist Reno Sweeney boards the S.S. American with her colorful cohorts, it's anything but smooth sailing. Mayhem and mischief ensue as the stage comes alive with star-crossed lovers, mistaken identities and good old-fashioned Broadway fun.

Loyola University Maryland Welcomes the Class of 2021
As first-year students embark on their college experience, they will all take part in Loyola's living learning program, Messina. The common text for Messina is Just Mercy, by Bryan Stevenson. The book, a compelling first-hand account of a lawyer who defends the poor and wrongly condemned, speaks to the inequality in the justice system.

Students stage 'Intimate Apparel' at Baldwin Wallace University
Under the direction of Shinnerrie Jackson, a talented cast and crew staged Lynn Nottage's "Intimate Apparel" during the spring 2017 semester. The breathtaking and moving drama ranks among the best American plays of the century. Esther, an African-American woman living in the dawn of the last century, makes an uncommon living sewing exquisite lingerie, allowing her rare access into the private lives of others.

Lebanon Valley College celebrated its 148th Commencement on Saturday, May 13 with nearly 500 students receiving their degrees in Louis A. Sorrentino Gymnasium. The 385 graduating seniors were joined by 38 doctor of physical therapy candidates, and 57 master's degree candidates.

Baldwin Wallace University awards merit scholarships to accomplished first-year students
More than 400 first-year students welcomed to the Baldwin Wallace University campus this fall earned $5.2 million dollars in merit scholarships for their outstanding high school achievements. BW grants a wide range of scholarships to current students each year. Including merit and need-based scholarships, BW students received over $41 million in financial support from the University for the 2016-2017 academic year.
